Nothing much to update in the first post, but I feel obliged to bump this topic back to the first page of Sardelac. As usual, I am always seeking for more feedback from the public.
I realise this feature could probably be very difficulty to implement, and I not not asking ANET to implement it right away, perhaps sometime in the future, like say Chapter 5, 6 or even 7.
As long as there is a chance for ANET to implement a similiar feature as proposed in this topic, I will continue to work on this topic until ANET stated that they will never work on this "Essence Armor".
Anyway, to all those who would reply on this topic in the future, if you /signed or /not signed or /anti-signed, or voted Yes, or No. Perhaps you could write a few lines of text to let us know why? Thank you.
Feedback, in any form, be it negative or positive, is much appreciated. '
Thank you for your time.
Cheers.

This armor seems excessive and a little ridiculous in my opinion. And please don't try telling me other wise. I could never change my mind on such a concept as this.

I love the idea....Not overpowered in any way, and you have to buy another set of armor/runes for it to morph

i'd rather see anet work on other ways of improveing your storage then add some sort of magical morphing armour like say making it so that the bags u carry r able to be stored well items r inside of them instead of how it is now u can only store them if they r empty.

Allow me to elaborate, I had to go before I could finish my post (the bell rang). Alright: What would be the point of crafting a Lyssa's domain style of this armor if there was a 1.5k/15k version? Unless it was made so that 1.5k version could ONLY absorb colors that were primary (no black/mixed), the 15k verison could absorb every color and every 15k armor, and the Lyssa's Domain version was the only version that could absorb FoW armor (or the equivilent of FoW). So the chart would be as follows:
1.5k Version:
Absorbs all 1.5k armor, all primary colors, all minor/major runes.
15k Version:
Absorbs all 15k armor, 1.5k armor, all colors, all runes.
Lyssa's Version:
Absorbs all armor (FoW, 15k, 1.5k), all colors, all runes.
If it was a system set up like that, then I'd support it.

Please elaborate on this point? I fali to see how that would happen. This armor would bring more good than bad. Please elaborate what kind of "bad" would come out from this "Essence Armor".

Also, the armor should look like starter armor to begin with, except with the Lyssa's. Then it should look like really, really, REALLY fancy starter armor.
(vote changed to /sign, BTW)

Thread revival as I want this idea to be exposed to more people.
Feedback, is always welcomed.
When I mean "feedback", it does not mean a single line of text saying:
"/not signed"
At least write a few more lines of text stating why you do not want this idea to be implemented.
Thank you.

people obsessing over looks are stupid, I like how people pay 50k for a zodiak weapon with 15%>50 when they can make a weapon with the same stats for 6k at weapon guy, or get it from a collector for damn near nothing.

Aw, I think it is not very nice to say "people ... are stupid".
Anyway, if the armor set is nice and I can afford it, and I really like the design of the armor, I would craft it for my characters.

Aye, most of the craftable Canthan weapons have decent looking skins, so I sold off my Tyrian collectors items (can't extract the weapon mods. ) to the merchant and crafted new Canthan weapons for my Warrior.
However, I think the "Melon Hammer" is just plain ugly.
Droknar's craftable Forge War Hammer ftw!

Cleaver FTL.... the skin makes it seem like a huge weapon, but when you actually get it on your character, it's like "WTF? Am I holding a stick or an axe?"

Aye, the cleaver looks like a kitchen knife to me.
Anyway, I think I ran out of ideas for this concept armor.
Are they anyone else who wish to contribute?
Of course, anyone who disagrees with this new concept armor set is welcome to "argue" with me in this thread, but let's keep it civil, aye?
Cheers.

The Good:
1. Save inventory space
2. Make Guild Wars a more unique game, the first game to have an Armor that can change its stats and looks at will
3. A goal for PvEers to achieve
The Bad:
1. Could be difficult for ANET to implement this
The Ugly:
1. Possible to be extremely time consuming and difficult for ANET to code this new function into Guild Wars
2. The current Guild Wars engine might not be able to support this new concept

Yes, I know we're in the same Guild. Thats besides the point here. This is actually a very good idea!. saves time and storage space. I'm all for customization. Making this option hard to get, like in fow or uw would make it a fun challenge, or maybe somewhere in cantha?
